Constance L. Lieber is a historian and essay writer. Two books, “Letters From Exile” and “Dr. Martha Hughes Cannon: Suffragist, Senator, Plural Wife,” were published by Signature Books (1989, 2022). Her essays have appeared in “Utah Historical Quarterly,” “Panorama,” and “Heimat Review,” among other journals. She writes on Utah (USA) history, the travel experience, and the idea of home and what it means. She has a PhD in Languages and Literature from the University of Utah and an MFA from Long Island University and speaks five languages with varying degrees of fluency. She lives in Utah and Frauenfeld, Switzerland.
