Eleni Xenou was born in Nicosia in 1969. She studied Law and Journalism in Athens. She worked for the largest media publication groups in Cyprus (Phileleptheros, Dias), from the positions of director of newspaper supplements, editor-in-chief and publishing consultant. In recent years she has been a self-employed professional, regularly contributing articles to Kathimerini journal. She maintains her own website, posting personal columns and micro-fiction as well as short documentaries materialized with director Christophoros Roditis. She has published a collection of stories titled PS. I Was Born One April and two monologues (The Death of Bach and Marriage Certificate) brought to the stage by independent theatre makers.
