Collected Works in Contemporary Art and Literature
Author: Natalya Repetatska
Nataly’s first poetry book was published in 2002 and was inspired by the Beatnik movement and Natalya’s teen experiences in Ukraine (“Waiting for the Sun”)
In 2017 one of Natalya’s poems was included in the UNESCO poetry competition finals. “Bigger than Me”, a limited edition photo-essay book, was dedicated to Nataly’s long-lasting love for New York, and its art world of the 1970’s.
Being also an analogue photographer, Natalya had two of her photo works featured in American poetry editions (“When I Think about Rain”, “Under a Night Sky”, by Paul Hedeen). Natalya writes in Ukrainian and English and is currently based in Berlin.
A refugee’s journey in post-war Berlin, torn between past and present, explores identity, resilience, and the impact of history on personal and cultural defiance.
